This International Women's Day, stay local, create a tangible impact, and help make a big difference.

Our lunch will launch the week where we recognise the achievements of women, and explore how we can ensure women are safe and empowered. Through access to equal opportunities, financial security and independence, women can contribute at all levels of society. 

Enjoy an afternoon with special guest speakers (information below), fabulous prizes, and good company.

Tickets: $150pp (Includes three-course meal and drinks). Tickets are limited, so get in early.

Special Guest Speakers:


MC and HKWS Ambassador, Nick McArdle
Journalist and broadcaster, Nick's career spans 30 years in Australian radio and television, initially in general news before specialising in sport. Nick covered sport for the Seven network for many years, hosted and commentated on Rugby Union for Fox Sports and currently hosts on 9 and Stan Sport. 

Speaker, Georgie Gardner
Georgie Gardner is an Australian television and news presenter and journalist. Georgie is currently presenter on Nine News Sydney. She is one of the country’s best known and most popular television presenters. Her genuine interest in talking to people and hearing their stories is what propelled her into a life of journalism.

Speaker, Simone O'Brien
Simone O'Brien is a survivor of Domestic Violence. She uses her personal story to champion non-violence against women and children. Simone shares her story of emotional and psychological abuse that led to significant physical violence in order to raise awareness of domestic violence and give strength to victims to leave violent relationships.

Speaker, Dr Vijay Roach
Vijay Roach is an obstetrician and gynaecologist working in private and public practice in Sydney. He is past President of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and previous Chair of the Council of Presidents of Medical Colleges. Vijay holds senior current roles in medical education, governance and as a medicolegal expert witness. He is a consistent and passionate advocate for women's safety, autonomy and equity.
